You can Make Homemade Face Wash

After a lot of research and constant repining on Pinterest, I think I have come up with a pretty simple technique, I have gotten it down to between two to four products! One of the main ingredients I use is Coconut Oil, I do have oily skin so I was pretty hesitant on using it. You would think that when you have oily skin, you NEVER want to use oil on your skin. But, it actually has helped counter act the oil my body makes, so that my skin is really soft and not oily throughout the day.

Second ingredient is Honey! Honey has many anti-bacterial traits and is good for treating acne. If you’re like me, you have tons of break outs and scars, and just when you think you finally have clear skin again, you have a totally new break out ALL OVER your face. My skin is really sensitive and if I even touch my face once, I have a break out.

A third ingredient you can use is pretty much any type of Essential Oil. Tea Tree is really good for spot treatments, as well as Rosemary. The oil I like to use is Lavender, not only because Lavender also is great for treating new or old break outs, but because when I use it at night it puts me in a great relaxed state after using it.

The last ingredient that I use is great for exfoliating your skin, nut. I don’t recommend putting it in your cleanser every day because exfoliating your skin is taking layers of skin off your face and isn’t always good to do every night. The last ingredient is Oatmeal! Most people take the oatmeal and ground it so its finer, but I just use it how it is because I feel like I get the best clean that way.

Using your wash. Most days throughout the week I will use my wash with just Coconut Oil and Honey, I’ll put the Lavender in after a long day. I massage it onto my face for a few minutes, then I will take a washcloth under the hottest water I can handle, ring it out, and hold it on my face to open and warm everything up. I massage my face with the washcloth as well to get the oil off and then that’s it! The process is the same with the Oatmeal, I just use that about three times a week to help get rid of dead skin.

Look Young with Embo Nude Mask

Effective for a long time

Compared to several other techniques embo nude mask is considered to be very effective against wrinkles and that too for a longer duration. In fact, it’s been observed that most users of the embo nude mask retain 80% of the effect of the treatment even after 8-12 weeks. The effect duration could be comparable with that of botox, thread lifts and laser surgeries at lower cost and convenience. This is the very reason why more and more customers have increasingly preferred this in modern times.

Simplicity in use

The ease with which the embo nude mask can be used is simply incomparable with other treatments and mediums. The mask is used by simply placing it on top of the face and allowing it to settle for a couple of hours. Without any use of the anesthetic or other painful instruments, this can effectively deal against wrinkles for several weeks. It is why the embo nude mask is the choice of treatment for thousands of skin treatment centers throughout the world. In fact, even simple skin treatment centers with minimal investment can easily treat their customers with the technology.

Quality tested

Treating the skin isn’t something that should be taken lightly. Improper treatment or the use of low quality products can mean that the skin treatment could not just be completely ineffective, but also bear several unintended side effects as well. Thus, it’s important to ensure that the products that you are using on your skin are indeed quality tested. It’s thus wise to choose products from companies that have been certified for their quality products like the embo nude mask.

Permanent Facial Hair Removal

Suppose you have bushy eyebrows and you want to make them look better and tame, the best option for the perfect arched eyebrows is plucking. By removing hair one at a time, you make sure you create the design you want. Although it is not permanent, you only need to do it once every fifteen days. You only need to buy a good pair of tweezers, which are never expensive. Plucking is fine for the eyebrows; it is not an effective method for the light hair on your face.

An efficacious method for the hair removal is waxing. Although not permanent, this technique will provide good results. You need to assess your tolerance to pain before going for a wax because waxing can be painful.

The last and most effective method is laser hair removal. This procedure is permanent and you will not have to worry about facial hair anymore. What the laser does is to weaken the hair follicle; within a couple of sessions the follicles are no longer able to hold hair and therefore it does not grow back. You need to make sure the follicles are sterile so they do not have a chance of growing hair again. The great aspect of laser hair removal is that you will get permanent results. The drawback though, is that the sessions can be expensive and you may need one or two sessions every month. As I see it, laser is an investment if you have a lot of facial hair.

Face Serum

Ingredients such as petrolatum or mineral oil keep water from evaporating, hence locking in moisture. A serum does not contain such occlusive or airtight ingredients commonly found in moisturizers.

Serums also contain a lesser amount of lubricating and thickening agents, as most of them are water-based. This helps them get absorbed more easily and makes them a great choice for those looking for a lightweight skincare product.

How do serums work?

Moisturizers contain bigger molecules that form a barrier on the skin surface. This tends to lock active ingredients out. Serums, on the other hand, are made up of smaller molecules which makes them fast and easy to absorb. The ingredients penetrate deep within the skin and restore skin health.

In order to ensure that you are purchasing the best beauty product, you should look out for the following ingredients in a face serum.

• Antioxidants
Antioxidants protect skin from damaging free radicals. Generated naturally by the body and found in UV radiation and cigarette smoke, free radicals can cause considerable skin deterioration.

Vitamins C, B and E, pomegranate extract, grape seed extract, green tea and resveratrol, can have potent antioxidant effects, helping restore your skin’s youthfulness.

• Hydrators

Hydrators add moisture to your skin, instead of sealing it like moisturizers do. Hydrators such as ceramides and amino acids can help build strong cell membranes and strengthen the skin’s barrier. These ingredients would help prevent your skin from dryness and fine lines.

• Cell-communicating ingredients

Cell-communicating ingredients like retinol and niacinamide have the ability to regulate skin functions by using existing chemical pathways and receptors. These ingredients complement antioxidants to improve the function of skin cells. They can tell skin cells to behave like a healthy skin cell and can prevent cells causing skin damage from doing so.

Ombre Hair

Keep the hair as healthy as possible. Bleaching basically removes pigment from hair to lighten it and it can be damaging compared to dyeing. Also important to remember is that the technique concentrates on hair ends and lengths which are compromised and can sustain damages compared to newer growths near the roots. To keep damages minimal consider trimming hair before and after ombre especially for dry or long hair. It is a simple way of preventing split ends or making them worse. You should nourish and soften hair once a week using color safe deep conditioner.

Go easy with the colors. When going ombre, it is best that you stick to natural hair colors, however adventurous you might be feeling. For black hair or dark brown hair, the ombre should not be lighter than soft medium or light brown. Light brown hair and blonde hair can have lighter color towards hair ends. To get it right, remember that the lighter the hair the lighter the ombre can go. Avoid being too drastic with your color choices if you want a good finish.

Try as much as possible to avoid harsh lines. Demarcation lines that are too harsh do not look any good. The hair should not go from light to dark too instantly and should instead appear sun-kissed and natural. The hand painting technique can be best to evenly distribute and blend lighter pieces. Mussing up hair strands also achieves the same positive results with the ombre. If you are doing the coloring yourself, consider using a toothbrush after applying bleach to rub color upwards to achieve the subtle gradient effect.

Get a reliable stylist. To avoid a messy ombre, trust a skilled stylist. So much can go wrong when coloring the hair, especially with dark hair you want to dramatically lighten. A stylist will choose the most flattering highlights to match your hair type and facial features. You also do not have to worry about poor product choices when you hire the services of skilled hair colorists to do your ombre.

Some Uses for Baking Soda

You can clean your brushes and combs with a bit of baking soda. By mixing the powder into a bowl of warm water it will instantly have a reaction and remove any dirt that has been lodged in the bristles of your brush.

Cushions and bedding will often have odd smells that are difficult to remove. If you use baking soda on the surface of these household items and furniture, you will remove any odours and moisture that has accumulated over time. Don’t forget to dust it off before using the furniture again.

You can use this kitchen ingredient as a way of cleaning your other kitchen items. The compound will let your stainless steel objects shine once again. It will take a bit of gentle scrubbing but you will be satisfied with the results.

It’s known that baking soda can be used as a teeth whitener but did you know that it can also be used to whiten and brighten other things? Using it in your laundry basket will get your whites bright again. Using it on your floor will make for a perfect tile shiner.

You can also clean the dishwasher with this amazing powder. If you add about half a cup into the machine and run it with no dishes then the dishwasher will smell fresh again and any unwanted stains will be removed. This can be done with most household appliances.

Besides cleaning and making a person pretty, the powder is also incredibly useful for sores and irritated skin. The elements relief the skin and help with the healing process. Just adding it to the skin is a perfect substitute for the expensive ointments and is more than likely to always be on hand.

Get Rid of Bangs

If you do not like extremely straight bangs then avoid the use of a straightener. Replace it with a smaller version of ceramic brush, to style your bangs.

The first technique is really simple, just round your hair on the brush and use a blow dryer for 1 to 2 minutes. After this you will get curvy above eye bangs that look really nice.

Second way to style your hair, is to start braiding any one side of your hair and braid it in the opposite direction. It is really simple to do because you are only required to create a simple side braid with your bangs. Secure your braid with bobby pins and to add some style in it you can push some hair over the braid.

If you do not like braids, then grab your bangs to twist them sideways and away from your hair. After completing your twisting process use a bobby pin to secure it down. Now take the hair and push it over the bobby pin to cover it.

Next, use a round ceramic brush, grab the section and round your hair inwards or outwards. Use a blow dryer for a couple of minutes. Stop brushing before unwrapping your hair and then release your hair. And voila you now have side bangs.

You can style bangs in a nice poofy style as well. Grab the first layer of your bang, spray your hair and tease it with a rat tail comb in a downward direction. Grab other sections one by one and repeat the same teasing process with it. After teasing, comb your hair away from your face to get a smooth texture, push them in an upward direction, grab a bobby pin and secure your hair. If you have thin hair then does not forget to use a holding spray as final touch. You will get a cute little poof.

Eyebrow Threading

Some of the main benefits are:-

  • Unlike plucking, in this process, the hair takes much longer to grow back. The hair is uprooted from root to tips which ensure that the hair doesn’t grow back again for at least a couple of weeks.
  • This process does not leave any spot marks. Due the fact that the hair is uprooted completely the areas remain clean and neat. All you can see is the skin
  • In the case of plucking or waxing, hair re-growth is often uneven. Some people complain that their eyebrows have come out thicker and fuller which can really deteriorate one’s look. But in threading, hair grows evenly and gradually.
  • It’s convenient to do. Unlike waxing, you don’t need to do much preparation in this process. All you need is a thread and an expert professional.

Trying it for the first time

Yes, it’s true that trying this process for the first time can be a little painful, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t do it. Before and after the process, just put a layer of lotion or cream over the area. As the pores remain wide open for quite some time, it is not advised to wash the area immediately.

Considering the fact that most women are conscious about how they look, it’s normal for them to splurge high on their makeup. Any kind of cosmetology therapy is available at most salons and parlours. All you need to do is find a salon which you find suitable. Be careful here as doing any kind of beauty therapy in an unknown salon can be a risk; you don’t want that for your face.

Info of Tea Tree Oil

There is one instance where is it recommended and safe to apply tea tree oil neat, and this is to acne, but only if done is a very precise manner with a cotton bud dabbed onto each spot. When used neat on normal skin this can cause irritation and redness, but the strength of the oil is most effective when applied neat in this instance.

This can be done at night and in the morning after washing and moisturising the face. If this is done at night it can be very effective at killing the spot and reducing the inflammation significantly by the time morning arrives. For acne, this treatment should be carried out over a period of weeks or months in order to enjoy the best results.

If you are planning a course of tea tree oil for acne, then it is strongly recommended to consult a dermatologist or natural skin care practitioner first of all in order to get their guidance on your particular skin condition. These experts will be able to advise you more specifically on your use of tea tree oil and warn you of any particular precautions that you may need to take.

For those who are suffering from acne in hard to reach places on the body or on a larger area of skin, a general spot treatment can be formulated by mixing tea tree oil with a base oil such as coconut oil, or with aloe vera. This can consist of a mix of 10% to 20% of tea tree to the base oil, which will make it less potent but also less irritating to the skin.

For the right percentage of dilution, consult a skin care expert who will be able to guide you in accordance with the tolerance of your own skin to this oil. These diluted treatments can then be used on larger areas of the body, with nourishing coconut oil recommended for the body and soothing aloe vera recommended for the face.

These treatments are also good for other skin problems, such as athlete’s foot or blackheads and very oily skin on the face. In these cases the anti-bacterial properties of the oil and the base product will act to sooth, nourish and disinfect the problem areas for noticeable results over an extended course of treatment of a few weeks.

There are other ways of using this oil rather than direct application, and one great method for those suffering from a skin infection all over their body is by adding a few drops to a warm bath and enjoying a soak. This can then be towelled off and regular body moisturiser applied, which is very effective for a more gentle treatment that does not require direct application of the product.

Likewise, tea tree oil can also be added to existing beauty products such a moisturisers, shampoos and shower gels in order to enjoy some of the anti-bacterial benefits in a much more diluted solution, and without investing in another base product either. These are just some of the best ways to start integrating the benefits of tea tree oil into your skincare regime.

Fairness Creams

Though, I do not hesitate to do research on my behalf and have explored a few facts about the fairness creams available on the market.

  • If you are not aware, let me tell you that most of the fairness creams contain bleaching agents. If the content of the bleaching agents present in these creams exceeds the level considered as safe, it may leave a harmful effect on the skin over time. Also, the long-term usage of these creams may pose serious health issues. In rare cases, it may cause skin cancer too.
  • None of the fairness creams can change the actual complexion of a person. All of these creams provides temporary results so that the user gets addicted to the product.
  • Many creams contain harmful ingredients like mercury that may cause abdominal pain, increased thirst, constipation and other skin problems. In many instances, it may result in severe allergies.

The manufacturers of these beauty products claim that they use anti-aging ingredients and sun protection formula in the manufacturing process of these products that is quite safe on the epidermis.

I feel that there is no harm in using any of the fairness cream if it contains ingredients that are safe on skin. The best alternative would be to opt for some natural formula that ensures fair, radiant, and youthful skin. It’s better to consider using an Ayurvedic cream or a lotion known for providing clean and clear skin.

We can always think of giving a try to home-made beauty recipes. Ingredients like turmeric, sandalwood, coconut water, saffron, gram flour and honey are known as the natural skin cleansers and moisturizers. These elements can also enhance the complexion of a person if applied on the skin regularly.
